MetLife sees no impact soon from interest rates

[AP] - MetLife Inc. said Thursday that it doesn t expect low interest rates to hurt its profitability this year or in 2011. The company issued the statement in response to concerns about the earnings of financial services companies, including insurers, as interest rates remain low.
